Eclipse Training Alliance > Training courses > OSGi > Developing OSGi

Chances are that the OSGi Service Platform will essentially shape the future of Java for years to come. Learn how to leverage the outstanding features of the Dynamic Module System for Java that have made OSGi setting the standard for embedded and desktop applications and now establish the platform as first choice for enterprise-critical server systems.
This intensive 2-day course with a strong focus on hands-on labs will give you a thorough foundation in the core principles of OSGi that enable you to build modular, dynamic and service oriented systems in Java. We will take a look at Eclipse Equinox and Apache Felix, the two most important open source implementations. And we will also show different tooling approaches, namely Eclipse PDE and BND with Ant and Maven.
